What i do

I got a comment today that said what i do is bad cuz i didnt draw the pictures i use to collage, manip, and what not. I want people to comment on this because now i am confused if it is an original concept isnt that the point, well any ways what i do is take either photos, or pictures that i enjoy alot and marry them to others, if you take a look at my gallery you might see something that you recognize that is the point i use alot of popular pictures, so people can connect to the piece. OK i am rambling, oh yeah one more thing if you want something in a collage just drop me a line and tell me the names of the works and i will do my best to put them together the way i do. The idea behind that comment that "what you do is bad because you didn't draw the images" is as simple as that. You may be going for a unique new concept but you are using things to do that with that are not yours to use. I really feel that you could really make some people angry if you use their images without linking to them and I really recommend you ask for permission first. Particularly images you take from here in DA because someone could report you for using any images that they previously submitted as "theirs" and you could get banned for that. Actually, I believe it only takes two offensives of someone submitting someone else's work (manipulated and/or changed or not) to get your account completely banned so I would be very careful if I were you.
I didn't seem to find that image you mentioned using one of my pictures in it but you can leave it up as long as you provide a link to me in the description. In the future I would prefer you not use my images and try to find stock imagry for your work. It is quite nice by the way
